Think I'll go to Boston...

Having arrived in Boston a little more than a week ago (July 4th was both the nation's and my independence day...hardy har har BOOM! fireworks), I can safely say that I made the right decision concerning the beginning of my post-grad, real-life life. I wanted (maybe needed?) to get out of the Midwest, mostly because I lived there my whole life and needed something new. I'll be using this blog as a way to document my observations, frustrations and jubilations (?) in my new life.

Random musing of the day:

Bathrooms in the city. They are scarce and often only available with purchase. My biggest fear is being blindsided by a desperate need to use a restroom somewhere where they aren't available. Sure, I have my apartment, Starbucks and Borders but what if I'm someplace with no easy access? I'm too old to pee my pants and have it be okay. I was too old when I almost did it in the middle of an Italian highway when I was 14. So it's safe to say that at 22, I won't be getting any sympathy. Wish me luck.
